About Me

last updated: 07-19-2026

  • living in las vegas.
  • punk, poetry and zines were early passions of mine.
  • this led me to found the las vegas zine library in 2010 with the help of my wife and a community eager to share their zines (thank you cornthwaites!)
  • still alive and well on the unlv campus inside the marjorie barrick museum. las vegas zine library

as a constantly curious and creative person over the years, I’ve fallen in love with film photography, synthesizers, coding, electronics, drawing, collage, terrariums, isopods and lots of things i’m not recalling in this moment.

i made 5 issues of a zine called low key that highlighted local photographers and musicians through the release of a full color zine with an accompanying cassette. [low key photo zine] (https://lowkeyphotozine.bigcartel.com/).

constantly shifting my focus between these interests and hobbies always made me feel like i was an undisciplined and lazy person.

it wasn’t until a few years ago that I realized that what i suffered from was not being a huge POS, but just a guy with adhd. maybe i’ll write about it more sometime.

i love art in all its forms but currently ink + watercolor as mediums is a favorite.

i helped start the Las Vegas Collage Collective with some great friends a few years back and remain a member, though I am inactive at the moment.

programming turned from hobby to profession several years ago after learning python and embracing linux.

I hope this indie web presence shares some of who I am, though it can only ever be a sliver in time. I embrace the term digital garden as I will tend to these entries and prune them as needed. I don’t want to ossify whether it’s physically or in thought so I think that this place should reflect those changes.

Hope you enjoy!
